You’ll find the space at Tequila Mockingbird to be quite unique.

Bring the inside out and the outside in with our 30-seat enclosed courtyard, get cosy in our 26-seat minimalist upstairs lounge banquette space, or dine under the sun (or stars) on our 20-seat rooftop terrace, complete with retractable roof to protect you from the elements.

With tapas-style dishes designed to be shared, there’s something to suit everyones mood. Our food and beverage packages have been designed to ensure ease of service so you can sit back and let us take care of the details whilst you enjoy the celebrations!

FOOD

All parties of 8+ are offered our specially designed set tasting menu. Each dish is portioned according to the size of your party and served to share. Set tasting menu’s can be modified to suit vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free and dairy free dietaries.

DRINKS

Mix and match our food and beverage packages to create a bespoke event to remember. For large groups, we recommend opting for one of our beverage packages to ensure ease of service. Alternatively, if you prefer to order as you go, set up a tab and we’ll let you know when you’re approaching your tab limit.

If there’s a favourite wine from our menu you’d like to have available, place a pre-order and we’ll do our best to have it on hand for your event.

THE COURTYARD

HIGHLIGHTS: Spacious, weather proof, air con, natural light.

FEATURES: Our ground floor courtyard area is styled around a Spanish colonial aesthetic featuring a covered leafy courtyard with outdoor feels enclosed seating overlooking our open plan kitchen. The covered courtyard is light and spacious come rain or shine.

Upstairs Lounge

HIGHLIGHTS: Long communal dining, air con, balcony overlooking Five Ways.

FEATURES: Situated on the first floor, our upstairs lounge offers an intimate atmosphere, featuring long banquette style tables for you and your guests. Complete with renowned Paddington balcony overlooking Five Ways.

THE TERRACE

HIGHLIGHTS: Retractable roof, air con, intimate.

FEATURES: Our South American coastal inspired rooftop terrace comes complete with a retractable roof. Secluded from the restaurant, the Terrace offers a perfect intimate space to enjoy the Sydney sun during the day and dine under the stars at night.

NEED TO KNOW

  • All groups of 8 or more are required to dine from our $85pp or $105pp Tasting Menu to give the kitchen adequate time to prepare, and to ensure the smoothness of your event.

  • Our set tasting menu can be modified to suit allergies and dietaries.  We require notice in advance for us to be able to best accommodate.

  • Early first sitting dinner reservations (5pm-6pm) require a latest departure time of 8pm. We cannot extend sitting times for latecomers on - Fridays & Saturdays because the table will be re-booked for our later sitting.  If you require a longer dining time, we recommend booking from 8.30pm onwards.

  • A 10% service charge applies to all groups of 6 or more which goes to the staff looking after your event.

  • A deposit is required to secure all reservations.  In the event of a no-show, reduction in guest numbers on the day, or outright cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice, a $50pp cancellation fee may apply.

  • For groups of 8+ guests and those requiring private use of a dining area, a deposit to the value of either $50pp or $85pp for private events is required to secure the reservation and confirm in the diary. This will be redeemed against your final bill on the day.
